July 2020, 2,000-mile, multi-week excursion. COVID made me avoid stopping at roadside retailers. Even in the car, the unit cooled quickly and kept food fresh without battery difficulties. The tiny refrigerated space gets colder than the main area, as advertised. It kept 35 degrees but wasn’t a freezer

It’s great. For our anniversary, my wife and I went camping for six days and bought this cooler because ice is a headache and it can be split between a fridge and freezer.

Since I got it, I’ve had it plugged in, and it’s working fine. Putting on the handles was a little hard, but the hardest part was putting in the screws. I’ve had it running at -003 degrees, and it freezes ice fine, but chicken and other meats don’t freeze hard enough to last. I recommend putting only frozen things in there to keep it cold. If it is put in at room temperature, it won’t freeze hard.

I’m seeing a number of these freezers lose cooling on one or both sides. If you download the Vehicle Fridge Freezer App. Navigate to the app’s settings, scroll down, and press RESET.
