I have tried it on both 110V and 12V, and they both work fine. ven though it wasn’t a hot day in Colorado, it only took about 15 to 20 minutes for the freezer side to reach 0F and the fridge side to reach 34F. I bought this unit for a van conversion I’ll be doing. When I turned the unit on for the first time, it ran for about a minute and then stopped. I turned off the fault and let it sit for a while because I thought it might have been shipped on its side. I haven’t been in trouble since. I’ve had this unit for a little less than two weeks and have done many tests. I opened the cooler door three times a day for about 20 seconds during each of these tests. I ran the cooler in single zone mode from room temperature to a set point of 33 degrees F and let it run for a day.
