This thing looks like a cooler, but don’t be fooled��a it’s great off-grid fridge/freezer, and it barely uses up my batteries because your solar panel feeds it when it needs to.

Our camper van has always had a cooler, but we wanted a motorized travel refrigerator. We haven’t used it in the van yet, but it seems sturdy. To test it, we’ve kept it powered. It comfortably maintains 0F to 4F inside our house at ~68F. The two freezer/fridge sections are great. The two food-holding wire baskets are very nice. I assume they generate a small airspace to improve cooling. We’ve operated it from DC and AC, and it uses 33 to 44 watts at max cooling. It runs quietly like gushing water. The sound is soothing! It’s great.

This item is essential for over-the-road truck drivers and long-term campers. The freezer and cooler work fine, and I recommend linking your smart phone to this unit so you can keep an eye on everything. This replaces my cooler Tron 53 quart cooler, which was only ambient temperature cool. This one is a refrigerator and freezer.
