Very useful and easy to use! Fill with water, choose the size of ice cubes you want, and in less than an hour you’ll have a full basket of ice. The machine makes more ice as soon as you take some out. I love it! “

I love this ice maker for the counter! It was well packed and had everything it needed, including a scoop for ice. The machine appears to be well made. Before I used the machine for the first time, the instructions said to leave the lid open for at least two hours. I did that. I then began to make ice cubes.
This machine couldn’t be easier to fill. All you have to do is open the lid, take out the basket that holds the ice, and pour water in until you reach an easy-to-see maximum line. Then, put the basket back in place and close the clear lid. After about 10 minutes, I had the first batch of perfectly formed ice cubes, which I dumped into the basket. Every 9 to 10 minutes, the ice maker kept making ice and dumping it into the basket. When the basket was full, a red light on the front of the machine turned off, signaling that more water was needed. It turned off automatically when the lights came on, and it starts up again when you empty the basket or add more water.
This machine makes ice quickly, isn’t too loud, and is easy to fill. If you fill it too much, you can open a seal on the bottom to drain the water without having to tip the machine over.
The only thing I’m not sure about is how long the ice cubes would stay frozen in the basket if you let it sit for a long time.
I like this machine a lot. See a video and photos of ice being dumped into the basket.”

The Euhomy COUNTERTOP ICE MAKER was delivered this evening, which is at least two weeks early. After seeing a picture of the silver one, I kind of wished I had ordered the red one instead. Now that it’s here, though, I love the color red. It looks cute on the counter, and I’m glad I chose the red color instead of one of the other two.
After letting it sit for two hours as instructed (so it could settle after being moved around during shipping), I made 3 batches of ice cubes, which is the same as 18 ice cubes. At least for the first batch, a time of eight or nine minutes is correct. I didn’t time the second and third batches, so they might have been a little quicker.
The icemaker worked perfectly, and it doesn’t take much time to figure out how it works by reading the manual. I basically had an idea right out of the box and figured it out in a few minutes. The only thing that needs to be done is for someone to add water when it runs out and empty the ice when it fills up. On the panel, there are only three lights. The operating light is either solid or flashing, which means that the machine is either defrosting or making ice. The other two lights let you know when you need to do something, like add water or empty the ice tray. All done. Very easy and simple.
It comes with a warranty for two years. All you need is spring water. The advice is to not use filtered water or water from the tap.
I can only think of one thing I don’t like about it: it’s kind of loud. I don’t want to run it all the time because it makes a lot of noise and probably uses a lot of power. But I’m not sure about how much power it uses. I’ll make ice and then put it in the freezer so I can use it later.
I’m more than glad to be done with the ice trays. YEAH!!
Last thing: it takes up a lot of space on your counter, so you’ll have to make room for it. I put it where I had been keeping my huge air fryer/Instant pot combo. The icemaker is actually smaller, which means it takes up less space on the counter. Even though I love my kitchen tools, it’s time to put away some of the ones I don’t use as often. The icemaker, on the other hand, now lives on the counter.”

It’s easy to use and gets the job done quickly. I didn’t have to ask anyone to bring ice for Thanksgiving for the first time ever.

Since our ice maker has been broken for a few years, we’ve been talking about this for a long time. I didn’t trust the reviews that said it would break down quickly. Ours has been good so far, and we’ve had it for a few months. I usually run it for a day and put the ice in bags to keep on hand at all times. I put in one batch, put the container in the freezer, bang it on the counter once to get the ice cubes out, then put in the next batch and do it again. If you leave the ice in the maker, it gets pretty wet, which is fine on days when a lot of people want to drink ice. For the price, it was a good buy that means I don’t have to fill ice trays all the time.

I really like this little thing. It works as it says it will. But you have to hold “select” to get out of a jam where “power” is red even though it’s still on.

I’m really interested in finding out why this machine says you can’t use distilled water. I didn’t plan to do it, but why not? Anyway, this ice maker makes me so, so happy! I’ve wanted one for a long time, and this one is the right size for my small home, makes nice chewable ice, and is cute. So, my doctor calls it pica, but I don’t see what’s wrong with eating ice all day. I was going to Circle K at least twice a day for a big cup of their soft, crunchy ice, which I loved. Now I can make it myself! Hey, at least you can drink it. And I have strong, healthy teeth.
When I opened the box, I saw a sticker that said this ice maker needs 24 hours to settle after you get it home, so keep that in mind. I know that refrigerators usually want the same thing, so I think it has to do with the coolant. Also, keep the clear lid open for the last 2 hours. And don’t forget to clean the inside by taking out all the packing materials and tape and washing it. The directions make it sound like the top can be taken off completely, but I don’t think that’s true. The clear half of the lid opens, the basket inside comes out, and that’s it. If not, it is just a picture to show you where some parts are.
The water reservoir is the space right under the ice basket that you can take out. This is where you’ll put water in. It makes ice in the back and then shovels it forward into the ice basket. It will say
If you don’t take it out
The machine is kind of loud, and it squeaks, slurps, and buzzes in very strange ways. Soon you’ll get used to it, but until then it might surprise you. I suppose it also depends on where your ice machine is and where you are. Mine is right next to the bed, so I hear everything it does. But I have a very small apartment, so your experience may be different.
How the ice tastes will depend on what kind of water you use. Like I said before, it tells you NOT to use “pure” (distilled) water. Instead, it says mineral water is best. I’m using tap water that has been filtered by a Brita. I wouldn’t suggest drinking water straight from the tap unless you live in a place with great water. I miss the water from the tap in the Pacific Northwest sometimes…
The nice thing about this machine is that you don’t have to run a hose or pipe it in. All you have to do is add water. About 3/4 of a motel ice bucket is needed to fill the reservoir to the line (which is just an embossed line in the plastic and can be hard to see)… It looks like that’s 1.5 liters. The book was there.
It makes 9 ice cubes in 9 minutes, which doesn’t sound like much, but it’s faster than an ice tray in the freezer. And the texture of these ice cubes is really great. Not sharp, but crumbly.
We’ve been using “shore power” (electricity) lately, but this ice maker only needs 120 watts! So I think it would be easy to run on an inverter. That will make summers a lot easier to handle.”

I’m very happy with this ice maker for the price. The cylinder-shaped ice is very cool, and it makes about six pieces of ice every five or six minutes. My only complaint is that the noise from the ice maker can be a little annoying if your bedroom is close by. This is because the ice maker keeps making ice even as old ice melts inside. We got this thing so we could make iced coffee, and it does that job well. It’s not very big, so it can only make one glass of ground ice coffee, but that’s enough for us. Overall, I’d recommend it to others.
