I had trouble getting the goods to operate, so I contacted Amazon, and they got in touch with the business my behalf. When the business was contacted, they quickly got in touch with me and offered to help, but I requested a refund, so they gave me a complete one instead.

Makes ice quickly. It’s a little loud, but it’s in the kitchen, so it’s not a big deal.

Some people said the ice was too thin and wouldn’t last. They were right about the first two batches, but as the water got colder, the cubes got thicker. I now start with cold water, and that got rid of the thin ice. They’ve held up pretty well. Every 7 minutes, the machine made 9 cubes. By the time the water was gone, the ice in my freezer was almost overflowing from the container. I’ll never use ice trays again. This way of making ice is a sure thing.

I’ve had a few of these, and the only ones that seem to last are the ones I bought a warranty for.

I bought this Euhomy ice maker for my counter almost 4 months ago. I live in a small cottage on a lake, and the kitchen isn’t big enough for a fridge that can hold an ice maker. It was hard for me to keep up with ice cube trays, especially when I had people over. I don’t have a lot of counter space either, but since this unit doesn’t take up too much room, I was willing to try giving up counter space in exchange for not having ice cube trays. It was on sale when I bought it. Still, I was hesitant to buy it because a few one-star reviews said it stopped working after 30 days and there was no customer service. When I see several of the same one-star complaints, I know something is wrong. Butbecause of the price and how much I hate ice cube traysI decided to go for it. I’m glad to say that we’re still going strong after almost 4 months. I use it about once or twice a week. I fill it up and make a full “batch” of ice cubes. When I’m done, I leave the lid open to dry out and unplug the unit until I need it again. The ice cubes are very wet, so if you use them right out of the machine, they won’t last long, and if you put them straight into an ice bin in the freezer, they’ll just stick together. To keep this from happening, I keep a gallon-sized zip-lock bag in my freezer. When the ice basket is full, I empty the ice into the bag and lay it flat in the freezer. When the next batch is ready, I shake the bag to break up the ice cubes, then dump them into the ice bin and start over. When the ice maker is completely full of water, it makes enough ice to fill the ice bin in my freezer. When I have enough ice, I open the lid and unplug the machine until the next time I need it. Even though the whole process of using zip lock bags may seem complicated to some, I still prefer it to using ice cube trays. I unplug the unit because that is what the maker of my Vitamix told me to do and because I don’t think it makes sense to leave electronics on for long periods of time when they aren’t being used. The “cubes” are only about a third as big as a normal ice cube. The size is good for making cocktails and filling water bottles. And yes, it does make ice cubes in the time it says it will. It’s not a lot of cubes, but it does make ice in 9 minutes, as promised. I’m very happy with what I bought, and I’ve already told a few friends about it. I would buy again without a doubt.

This ice maker has made a huge difference for my family. We live in Arizona, and most days our freezer runs out of ice, so this ice maker makes our lives so much easier. We like our ice to be on the small ice setting so that when it’s in a drink, it gets crunchy like sonic ice. The small ice also fits perfectly into the top of a soda bottle, which makes the drink taste even better when you’re away from home. We did notice that when the water level in the ice maker gets low, the ice cubes get much smaller. If you don’t want this to happen, make sure the water level is always high. Overall, the ice maker is great.

I looked at a lot of reviews to find a countertop icemaker and chose this one because the reviews were helpful and it was on sale. I like that it has a mode that cleans itself so I don’t have to take it apart to clean it. When it runs, it is very quiet. The only time it really “makes noise” is when ice is dumped into the basket. Remember that the ice will be wet. One reviewer said that before she put the ice in the freezer, she blotted it with a towel to keep it from sticking together. I tried that, but it didn’t work out very well. I keep an ice pick in my freezer, which is what I do. I just have to be careful not to break the container by poking through the ice. No biggie. I was sick of having to buy bags of ice. I just use tap water because it’s soft and doesn’t cause any problems where I live. This is a very easy way for me to get ice when I want it. I would absolutely suggest.

Update: I didn’t expect it, but customer service called me and offered a partial refund. If you have a problem, they will fix it.
