Works great. Makes ice quickly. Way better than the ice from my refrigerator ice machine. Easy to clean. There is a plug ant the bottom so it can be rinsed out easily. Easy to fill with water. It also recycles the water from the melted ice. I’ve been using it daily for a couple of months and it’s holding up.

Love the tiny (about 1/4″) ice cubes! Makes any drink colder, non choking ice. Within 5 minutes from start, you are able to get ice. The machines we had prior made larger ice with a hole in center so this time we tried this type. Love it, worth the extra money.

I was growing tired of not having enough ice in our house. We are not filling large coolers and didn’t want to install a waterline and walk to the garage every time I need ice. We do have multiple kids playing sports and my wife and I keep larger water bottles for hydration during the day. We needed more ice, but not a commercial ice maker in the. I was looking for a machine that would fit under by cabinet on the counter garage and didn’t want to spend $500 plus for the extra ice. I wanted as much capacity and production capacity in a small space. I also love small nugget ice that I get at some restaurants, and I get larger cube ice from my fridge. In our house the machine runs a lot during the day, because we all prefer this chewable small cube ice over the larger cubes.
The machine makes noise because it has a compressor to cool the water. I like that I can hear it so that I know when it needs more water, or I need to empty the ice tray. It is a low hum when it is running.
If you keep it full of water and off load the ice this thing can produce a lot of extra ice. It fills up surprisingly quick. When we are home we run it all day. Cleaning is extremely easy, and doing so keeps the ice flowing. We have sported every weekend it seems, we always have ice for our small coolers. This crushed Ice is great because it fills small cracks and gives you maximum surface area on what you are trying to cool down.
I had a minor issue with my machine. I contacted support and got prompt answers and they are a great help. It is so refreshing working with a small business that stands behind their product and want to ensure that you love their product. There is a reason they have so many high reviews.

Put ice in a glass of ice tea, set it on a table for 3 hours, come back later and there’s still ICE IN THE TEA. The ice has no taste, stays frozen in the freezer, and is chewable without cracking your teeth. You will have to keep the ice in a container in the freezer and chop it up a little the first time you take it out, but after that, it can stay in the freezer and still stays loose and ready to use. SO much better than ice trays…

This thing works very well and fast. I let it sit for 48 hours instead of the recommended 24 because I forgot about it. I cleaned it per instructions and then started it up to make ice. It filled quickly with quality ice that had no taste or odor. I didn’t find it too loud in our camper.

It is quiet, easy to use and perfect for making tiny cubes of ice. I put the ice in gallon size bags and lay flat for freezing, this makes it super easy to break off ice(tapping on counter and pour from the bag)for drinks. Buy one, you will love it!

#1: the ice is great. Soft and chewable fresh out of the machine, and easily chewable again after a few seconds in a drink when it’s been stored in the freezer. I find it to be better than Sonic, actually.
I am docking 1 star because you do kind of have to babysit the machine. When I saw 34lbs/24hrs, I somehow thought that it could be left to run continuously – it can’t. Both the water reservoir and ice basket are small, so I get it. The ice basket backs up if it’s not emptied regularly (every 30 minutes or so), and there’s no cooling/chilling mechanism in that part of the machine, so the ice can be a bit gloppy. If you’ve walked away and it’s just sitting there, it’s melting. If you’re then transferring this into your freezer, it has the tendency to clump together. Roughly 3-4 baskets full is one reservoir’s worth of water. For scale, it takes me 2.5 reservoir’s worth of water to fill my freezer’s icemaker (which I then dispense from, having turned off the freezer’s ice-making capability).
Overall: for home use, this is a great product at a decent price. Just be prepared to keep an eye on it. Depending on how much ice a household goes through, you may be running it a lot. I haven’t gotten the impression it’s drawing a lot of energy, which is great.
