Usually, my wife uses a lot of ice. At 2 a.m., she’s making noise in the kitchen to get it. I bought this for her craft room, which she uses late at night. There won’t be any more noise from people getting ice. Also, when it works, it gives off a little heat. Keeping the door closed helps keep the craft room warm in the winter. We’ll find out how it goes this summer. I’m happy because she’s happy. I should’ve bought this a long time ago.

The concern of being scammed when buying a product made in China always lingers in my mind. However, my ice maker arrived damaged and I was pleasantly surprised by the easy return process. Despite the initial setback, a new unit arrived within two days after dropping off the damaged one at the local UPS store. Although it has only been 24 hours, the ice maker is functioning well and looks great on the countertop. eCozy went above and beyond by offering me a $10 debit card credit as a compensation for my inconvenience. It is worth mentioning that the packaging for the ice maker was excellent and it is likely that the damage was due to rough handling during shipping, not due to any shortcomings in the packaging.
