It’s hard to believe how fast this ice machine works. It gets rid of ice in about 8 minutes each time. The ice is a good size and easy to get out with a scoop. This is the most important thing for a home bar. No more carrying ice in buckets. I like how easy it is to use. When you add water, ice comes out. Simple. I really suggest.

Since my fridge doesn’t make ice cubes, this is a great machine to have. It fits well on my kitchen counter and makes ice pretty quickly. I love knowing that I can get great results from drinking water. (plain tap water doesn’t taste strange) Great for an RV or a party where you need more ice.

I just got this ice machine. I’m superstitious, so I probably shouldn’t say how much I love it, but I do. The ice cubes are the right size and shape (bullet-shaped), and it took me about 5 hours to fill two quart-sized storage bags. I followed the advice of a previous review and didn’t empty the remaining water from the bottom. Instead, I soaked up the water with one of those super sponge rags (wrung out about 5 times) and then let it air dry with the cover partially open and the plug unplugged. Now I don’t have to worry about running out of ice or having to buy bags of ice to put in my freezer. Plus, I know that the water I pour into the cubes will filter it very well. I’m crossing my fingers that this machine will last a long time.

Our ice maker stopped working a while back, and I was thinking about getting a new fridge. That problem has been fixed by this little thing. It makes little “cups” of ice “It doesn’t take very long. If you want the cubes to get harder, you should put them in a bag and put them in the freezer. If you like to chew on ice but don’t want to break a tooth, the cubes are soft enough to chew on. It looks good in my kitchen, too. Certainly worth the cost!

A light machine that you just plug in and turn on. Fill the water up to the max line under the basket and wait. It takes a while to fill the basket because of the humming and clunking, and it only makes 4 or 5 cubes at a time. The square cubes have a hole in the middle. The kids love it because the cubes are hollow and easy to chew. They also look like olives and can fit on your fingers. The machine takes up space, but it will be great to use when it’s hot outside. For now, ice is made once a day, so use a daily bag to fill a freezer. Great machine, and it’s a good deal.
